Directions
- Cabbage rolls with minced meat begins by up to a liter of boiling water put 1/2 teaspoon salt and 50 g of rinsed rice. Cook until tender.
- Into a bowl put 500 g minced meat, add 1 finely chopped onion, 2 cloves of crushed garlic, 2/3 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 1 egg, cooked rice and mix everything.
- Add 4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs and stir.
- Separate the cabbage leaves.
- Into a liter of boiling water put 1/2 teaspoon salt, add cabbage leaves and cook it until soft, about 3-4 minutes. Then let them cool and cut off the hard parts from the middle of leaves.
- From meat shape small balls and wrap them into softened cabbage leaves.
- Place rolls in a baking dish close together, sprinkle with the crushed or ground cumin and paprika.
- On top lay thin slices of butter that soften rolls.
- Sprinkle with 1 small chopped onion and pour a little water. Bake covered in the oven at 180°C for an hour.
- Take the rolls out of the oven, pour over with drippings, and bake uncovered at the same temperature until the surface is nicely golden.
