How to prepare couscous? Here is a basic guide.
Ingredients
couscous | as needed | 100 g | 257,9 kcal |
sunflower oil | 1 tbsp | 7 ml | 58,1 kcal |
salt | 1/4 tsp | 3 g | 0,1 kcal |
Directions
- Pour the couscous into a bowl and add about a tablespoon of oil.
- Mix thoroughly to encase every grain of oil.
- Season couscous with salt.
- Then pour over the couscous with boiling water and leave for about 3 minutes.
- Mix again well and leave a few minutes.
- Couscous must remain loose and does not stick.
- one part - for example, one cup of couscous put into a suitable bowl...
- season with a little salt...
- add a little olive oil... (you may also use a different oil but it will influence the taste of couscous)
- mix thoroughly to encase every grain of oil...
- boil two parts - two cups of water...
- then pour over the couscous with boiling water... stir...
- leave it with a lid on...
- after 3 minutes stir again and cover...
- after 10 minutes the water will vanish and the couscous is ready for eating or for further processing...
- couscous must remain loose... it is also suitable instead of rice...
