parsley leaves 2 tsp - dried or fresh 1 g 0,1 kcal
marjoram 1 tsp 1 g 0 kcal

  1. Onion fingers will start with boiling 500 g of potatoes in their skins until tender. If you are unsure how to do it , then look at the video HERE . Then let it cool and remove the skin. The skin is removed best when the potatoes are a little warm.
  2. Pour 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry two large chopped onions until golden.
  3. In bowl put coarsely grated or chopped potatoes, 2 eggs, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin, 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper, 2 teaspoons parsley, 1 teaspoon of marjoram, the cooled onions from the pan and mix all with a hand blender.
  4. Now we have to thicken. We will use the fresh bread crumbs, not the one you have kept at home for several weeks {text : "Crumbs, to a certain extent determines the taste of the food so always use a fresh, not the one you have kept at home for several weeks."}. Add 8 tablespoons of bread crumbs and stir well. If the mixture is still too sticky, add a few tablespoons more. In this recipe we have used a total of 11 spoons. The exact amount of crumbs can not be estimated as each mixture contains different amount of fluid.
  5. Now season it with salt to taste and stir well.
  6. According to the video attached shape the fingers in a size you want.
  7. Fry it until golden brown. Leave them on absorbent wipes for a few seconds and then served with potatoes, mashed potatoes etc. 
According to this recipe you can make about 24 regular-sized fingers.
