This recipe has several advantages. Croquettes can served as a side dish to meat or to mashed potatoes.

Directions
- Onion croquettes start cooking 500 g of potatoes in their skin until tender. If you are unsure how to do it, take a look at the video HERE. Then let it cool and remove the skin. The skin removes best when the potatoes are little warm.
- In the pan pour 3 tablespoons of oil and fry two large onions until gold.
- In bowl put coarsely grated or chopped potatoes, 2 eggs, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, 2 teaspoons parsley, 1 teaspoon marjoram, cooled onion from the pan and mix everything with a hand blender.
- Now you have to thicken the mixture. Use the fresh bread crumbs, not the one you have at home kept in warm for several weeks

. Add 8 tablespoons of bread crumbs and stir well. If the mixture is too sticky, add a few tablespoons more. In this recipe we have used 11 tablespoons of bread crumbs . The exact amount can not be estimated because of the different fluid content. -
Now season with salt to taste and mix well.
- Shape croquettes according to the video attached with a diameter of about 3 cm.
- Fry on little oil until golden brown. Leave them on absorbent wipes for a few seconds and then serve with potatoes, mashed potatoes or anything you like.
