Directions
- Vegetable patties with peas start cooking 500 g of potatoes in their skins until tender. If you are unsure how to do it, take a look at the video HERE. Then let it cool and remove the skin. The skin removesbest when the potatoes are still a little warm.
- Cook 500 g cauliflower until tender. This takes only few minutes, depending on how big it is. Large pieces of cauliflower cut in half. After cooking, let it cool, and cut into smaller pieces.
- In he pan pour 3 tablespoons of oil in and fry two large onions until it gold.
- In a bowl put chopped or coarsely grated potatoes, chopped or diced cauliflower, 2 eggs, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper, 3 tablespoons parsley, 1 teaspoon marjoram, the cooled onions from the pan and mix everything with a hand blender.
- Now you have to thicken the mixture. Use the fresh bread crumbs, not the one you have at home kept in warm for several weeks

. Add 8 tablespoons of bread crumbs and stir well. If the mixture is too sticky, add a few tablespoons more. In this recipe we have used 11 tablespoons of bread crumbs . The exact amount can not be estimated because of the different fluid content. - Add salt to taste and mix well.
- Then add drained canned peas. Stir it very carefully to not crush it.
- Shape patties with a diameter of about 8-10 cm according to the video attached.
- Fry on medium layer of oil until golden brown. Leave them on absorbent wipes for a few seconds and then serve with potatoes, mashed potatoes or anything you like.
Vegetable patties can be easily freezed. Put them in the freezer with a cutting board, and after an hour move them into a large plastic bag.
